Liz Nicholls, a longtime theatre critic for the Edmonton Journal, is one of the winners of a 2011 Salute to Excellence Citation Award. The award is presented to Edmontonians who have contributed to the unique and diverse fabric of the city.

Nicholls has been the Edmonton Journal’s theatre writer since 1983. She will receive her award at a ceremony Monday evening in Edmonton’s City Hall.
