The High Performance Rodeo, Calgary’s annual International Festival for the Arts, announced their 2012 Lineup in an event at The Engineered Air Theatre in Epcor’s Centre for the Arts yesterday.
Next year’s festival runs from January 5th to 28th, and features an eclectic mix of theatre, dance, visual art, performance art, film, presentations and even Mexican wrestling.
One Yellow Rabbit, which founded the Rodeo in 1986, will be première its newest creation Taking Shakespeare at this year’s festival.
One Yellow Rabbit has partnered with many of Calgary’s major arts organizations, like Vertigo Studio Theatre, Theatre Calgary, Theatre Junction GRAND and Lunchbox Theatre, to establish the High Performance Rodeo as one of the major cultural events in Calgary.
