Call for Submissions (Calgary): 2012-Projects Grants

As Calgary prepares to celebrate 100 years, its arts and culture community has a unique opportunity to envision a future at the helm of artistic innovation and excellence supported by the
2012-Project grants. This funding opportunity has been created to support non-profit arts, culture and heritage organizations; artist collectives and professional artists as the drivers of our city’s rich cultural vision, making essential contributions to Calgary’s vitality throughout 2012 and beyond.

2012-Projects is a grant program that will lead the city in acknowledging the excellent work of Calgary’s innovative arts, culture and heritage communities. The program will support projects that start during Calgary’s year of celebration (April 1, 2012 – March 31, 2013) and encourage creativity, innovation and diverse participation and collaboration.  Two levels of funding will support both small projects with bold vision, and larger projects that shape our city and inspire us all. Join us in rallying around Calgary’s big bold culture.

Online application begins November 7, 2011. For more information, visit Calgary2012.com.  If you have questions, phone 403-476-4339 or email info@calgary2012.com.
