BUMBLES’ BIG CHRISTMAS ADVENTURE
An original Canadian musical written by Ingrid Hansen Smythe.

Santa entrusts Bumbles with the all-important jar of Christmas magic. When everything goes awry it appears that Christmas is doomed, but Santa has confidence in Bumbles’ ability to fix his mistake. The question is, can Bumbles get the magic back in time to save Christmas?
Rehearsal Schedule
Rehearsals are Wed, Fri, Sat nights 7 – 10pm at the Community Arts Centre (2633 Hochwald Ave. SW) beginning September 30th.
Performance Schedule
Performances run Fri evenings at 7:30 , and Sat/Sun afternoons (12:00pm and 3:30pm) November 25th through December 18th, 2011. Additional performances may be added on Thursday evenings at 7:30pm, depending on demand.
Audition Requirements
For all roles, please come prepared to sing your favourite Christmas Carol, and to tell a joke. You may be asked to read from the script on the day or to have your vocal range tested with our musical director.
A CD player will be present for accompaniment tracks.
A piano/keyboard will be available, should you choose to bring your own accompanist (we will not have an accompanist present).

CHARACTER ROLES
(Actors ages 10 and up are invited to audition)
There is no age range set for these characters. If you think you can play an elf (or Santa), than you can audition! This show is a high energy show, which will use music, improvisaiton, and physical comedy / theatre styles.
Six (6) Roles are being cast:
BUMBLES –
An Energetic, child-like elf, preferably good at tumbling.
TINKLES – (female)
A managerial, officious elf.
BINGLES – (male/female)
A sweet, though slightly bossy and snitchy elf.
JINGLES -(male/female)
Another sweet, though slightly bossy and snitchy elf.
DAVE – (male)
The wise-guy, a slightly cynical elf.
SANTA – (male)
The big guy with a jelly belly.
