The Alberta Jubilee Auditoria Society is calling Alberta artists to help contribute to the Community Engagement’s art initiatives across the province.
We are creating a database of artists from various towns and cities across Alberta. Our Community Engagement programs are looking for artists to help facilitate art programs with children, teenagers and adults. The information you provide will not be sold and will only be given out with artists’ permission.
Being on our database will allow you to have early notice of opportunities and events with the Community Engagement at the Jubilee, including call for submissions and workshops. The Community Engagement programs are looking for a wide variety of artists. We seek artists with experience in but are not limited to: theatre, music, performance, visual art, and dance.
We encourage artists who have worked with the Community Engagement programs at the Jubilee to submit information, because the database is new and we would like to know if previous artists are interested or are not interested in being part of our database.
Please submit:
- Resume (including two references)
- A brief description of artistic work and practice
- Documents relevant to showcase the artist’s work such as photos, CD’s or video
- information about previous teaching experience and a teaching statement (not necessary but desired)
There is no deadline to submit for the database, it is an ongoing search. We will contact artists on an as-needed basis.
