Edmonton Musical Theatre - Pre School, Junior, Teen, Adult Musical Theatre Classes

Edmonton Musical Theatre is dedicated to educating its students to the highest degree of professionalism in the area of Musical Theatre Arts and provides them with a greater appreciation of the arts, a sense of achievement and personal growth and a new level of confidence.

Under the guidance of exceptional, professional musical theatre instructors, students of all ages receive training in acting, dance, movement, choral and solo vocal work. Students further develop their performance skills by participating in open workshops, community service performances and a professional year-end production.

Founded in 1977 by Dr. Dasha Goody, Edmonton Musical Theatre (EMT) is a performance-training organization unique in that it is an independent, non-profit society, which provides quality training at affordable prices.

EMT provides students with a refreshing alternative: Classes are conveniently held in the evenings, allowing them the opportunity to train while attending school, working and/or raising a family. It also provides the added benefit of improved confidence and self-esteem.

Whether an individual is pursuing a theatrical career, is seeking self-actualization or is simply interested in being part of the musical theatre arts community, EMT is the place to find it!
