Carolann Valentino has been seen shinning her light as an actress, stand- up comic, singer, dancer and improviser. Some of her most memorable theatre roles have included Anita in “West Side Story,” Rizzo in “Grease” and Morales in “A Chorus Line.” For the past four years Carolann has been on International tour with the all-star female hit comedy show, “The Italian Chicks” endorsed by Danny Aiello. They were most recently featured on ABC World News Tonight with Diane Sawyer, Bloomberg TV and have been seen selling out throughout the country’s top comedy clubs and theaters. As a solo comic, Carolann works solo as a comic throughout NYC top comedy clubs, such as Caroline’s, Gotham, the legendary Feinsteins, New York Comedy Club and Stand Up NY to name a few. She has opened for greats such as Bill Bellamy and on the dias for the Soprano celebrity roast. In addition she is currently the host of a new TV show, ” A Slice of the City” intended for the Food Network and set to air later this year. Some of her TV credits include, a recurring role on As the World Turns, Hell’s Kitchen, Tyra Banks show, Comedy Comcast and VH-1. Her 18 character, Off-Broadway one-woman show, “Burnt at the Steak” which Ms. Valentino wrote, directed, produced and starred has received rare reviews and is set tour tour the Canadian Fringe circuit in 2012.

Theatre Alberta members are invited to publicize their upcoming Calgary Fringe and/or Edmonton Fringe productions through one of the most popular sections of our website – Classifieds.
