Carolann Valentino has been seen shinning her light as an actress, stand- up comic, singer, dancer and improviser. Some of her most memorable theatre roles have included Anita in “West Side Story,” Rizzo in “Grease” and Morales in “A Chorus Line.” For the past four years Carolann has been on International tour with the all-star female hit comedy show, “The Italian Chicks” endorsed by Danny Aiello. They were most recently featured on ABC World News Tonight with Diane Sawyer, Bloomberg TV and have been seen selling out throughout the country’s top comedy clubs and theaters. As a solo comic, Carolann works solo as a comic throughout NYC top comedy clubs, such as Caroline’s, Gotham, the legendary Feinsteins, New York Comedy Club and Stand Up NY to name a few. She has opened for greats such as Bill Bellamy and on the dias for the Soprano celebrity roast. In addition she is currently the host of a new TV show, ” A Slice of the City” intended for the Food Network and set to air later this year. Some of her TV credits include, a recurring role on As the World Turns, Hell’s Kitchen, Tyra Banks show, Comedy Comcast and VH-1. Her 18 character, Off-Broadway one-woman show, “Burnt at the Steak” which Ms. Valentino wrote, directed, produced and starred has received rare reviews and is set tour tour the Canadian Fringe circuit in 2012.

Call for Submissions (Alberta): Publicize your Fringe show on Theatre Alberta’s Classifieds!

Theatre Alberta members are invited to publicize their upcoming Calgary Fringe and/or Edmonton Fringe productions through one of the most popular sections of our website – Classifieds.

Simply fill out this online form, choose a date you wish your listing to be published and voilà - you have your own dedicated web post. You can upload a picture and one other piece of media – be it a song (mp3 file), poster, or another photo. (If you have a promo video on YouTube or another video sharing site, simply type in the URL of your video and it will automatically embed in your post.)

If you wish to update your listing – say, when your five star review comes out and you want to upload a copy or link to the article - no problem! You will receive a unique hyperlink to have your post updated as new information comes available.

As with all of our Classified listings, each post will receive a link on our Facebook page and Twitter feed (@TheatreAlberta). Those who post early enough will also be included in Theatre Alberta’s Buzz – our enews sent out to over 2200 recipients across the province (must submit before August 1st). You can share your unique post on your own Facebook event page or Twitter feed – use it instead of purchasing your own website.
