Coat Check Initiative under way at Enbridge playRites Festival of New Canadian Plays
For Calgary theatre goers, February marks the start of the Enbridge playRites Festival of New Canadian Plays. It’s also a month that typically brings the most unbearably cold weather! In anticipation of both, Alberta Theatre Projects is proud to present our Coat Check Initiative: an opportunity for theatre goers to donate their lightly used coats, toques & mitts to The Mustard Seed; a non-profit, humanitarian organization that responds to the needs of the inner-city’s less fortunate. When attending any one of the Martha Cohen Theatre shows in the Festival, patrons can bring these items to the Coat Check and inform the Front of House staff that the item is for donation. We look forward to seeing you in our theatre & welcome any warmth you can bring to someone in need.
