ADVANCED SEARCHES

Advanced Search is available from every page in the catalogue. The Advanced links are located on the upper and lower blue bars, which appear on each page.

The Advanced Search feature provides you with more complex search options. This includes the ability to search the entire catalogue or do very specific searches. When clicking on the Advanced Search, you are presented with a screen similar to the one above.

To perform an Advanced Search:

1. Select the field to search on by selecting one of the Radio Buttons
2. Enter the search criteria in the first field
3. Click Search
4. The Results screen will display the number of hits in the Title Bar and list them in the main screen.
5. Click Reset to clear the search information.

To search the entire catalogue:

1. Select the Loan Type field
2. Type CCO in the first field and YSC in the second field
3. Click Enable Between Searching
4. Click Search
5. The Results screen will display the entire library catalogue
6. By clicking the Title or Author heading in the Results screen, you can alphabetize the results.

Please note : You may search only one field at a time. The Enable Between Searching feature is not available online.
