Dance Montage presents the creative spirit of community building through the arts. Since its inception in 1969, Dance Montage has integrated beginning dancers and choreographers with experienced professionals to facilitate the creation of new dance work.

Of the many pieces to be interested in this year, Dance Montage Artistic Director Dawn Dymond is particularly excited to see the work of MoMo Mixed Ability Dance Theatre. “I’m really excited to see what is created through this process...and believe it will fit perfectly within the spirit of Montage.”

Collaborating with dancers from the university and others in the community MoMo will collectively create a new improvisation based piece for Montage 2008 “MoMo is Calgary's first and only integrated dance theatre and they are bringing surprising and unusual new work to the Calgary arts scene.” Says Pamela Boyd, creator of MoMo.
